Village Concepts CFO volunteers as judge for Washington Business Week
Village Concepts CFO Peter Jorgensen volunteered as a judge for JM Weatherwax High School during Washington Business Week. Juniors from the high school spent a week simulating a business and made presentations to the judges. They also participated in a trade show where students competed for “investors” using paper money. The Aberdeen Rotary and other local businesses sponsored the event.
Washington Business Week is a week-long opportunity for high school students to learn about teamwork, leadership, and real-life goals. Students run a simulated business, face real-life challenges and prepare for their future. See www.wbw.org for more information on Washington Business Week.
