May is National High Blood Pressure Education Month and this year’s theme highlights the threat of uncontrolled hypertension (high blood pressure): “If Your Blood Pressure Is Not Lower Than 140/90, Ask Your Doctor Why”. The National Heart, Lung & Blood Institute (NHLBI) reports that high blood pressure affects approximately one in four American adults. Come have your blood pressure checked at Channel Point Village on May 24 from 9:30-11 a.m. 100% donations collected will benefit the NHLBI. Call (360) 532-9000 or email Annarae James at annaraej@villageconcepts.com for more information.
