Country Meadow Village residents and family spent a Saturday morning volunteering their time putting together adoption packets for S.P.O.T. (Saving Pets One at a Time), an all-volunteer pet adoption service that provides Skagit County and the surrounding area an alternative method for caring for and adopting out companion animals. The organization does not have a central care facility, but rather relies on a group of private foster homes until a proper home is found.

If you would like more info, call S.P.O.T. at (360) 336-5388.
