Lemonade stand a whopping success!

Residents and staff at Country Meadow Village set up a lemonade stand on a hot summer day to help raise funds for the “Food for Kids” program through the Sedro-Woolley School District. Social media, word of mouth, balloons and signs along the road all helped guide thirsty customers to the stand where they enjoyed homemade cookies and refreshing lemonade. The stand raised almost $60; not too shabby for a lemonade stand!

Country Meadow Village will also be having a Yard Sale Friday, September 9 from 9-3 p.m. to raise funds for the program.

 
 
 

Country Meadow Village booth takes 1st Place at Million Dollar Golf Tournament

Country Meadow Village was awarded 1st place for the third time for Best Marketed Booth at the Burlington and Mount Vernon Chamber’s Million Dollar Golf Tournament. Golfers flocked the “Life’s a Beach” booth for frozen refreshments and a personalized poolside photo of their golf team. The “beach” was so popular that several teams allowed the group behind them to play through as they relaxed in the sand!
