United General Hospital premiered two commercials starring Country Meadow Village residents Al Schleef, Pinky Holcomb, Bob Benham and Maria Wood. Balloons, “paparazzi” and life-sized cardboard cutouts of Elvis, Scarlett O’Hara and James Dean adorned the space as residents gatheredĀ for a viewing.

Valerie Stafford, Communications Director at United, thought it would be a great idea to partner with Country Meadow Village for the commercials. “We are so grateful that Al, Pinky, Bob and Maria took the time to help us out,” she said.

Greg Reed, Administrator of the hospital presented each of the participating residents with a note and special “Emmy” trophy commemorating the occasion. The spots will be shown on the Comcast Networks along with showings at the Concrete Theatre and the Movie Theater at the Cascade Mall.

Tracy Willis, Country Meadow Village Executive Director, enoucrages these types of parnerships in the greater community. “Any time we can partner with organizations like the hospital we jump at the chance,” she said.
