Residents and staff at Country Meadow Village set up a lemonade stand on a hot summer day to help raise funds for the “Food for Kids” program through the Sedro-Woolley School District. Social media, word of mouth, balloons and signs along the road all helped guide thirsty customers to the stand where they enjoyed homemade cookies and refreshing lemonade. The stand raised almost $60; not too shabby for a lemonade stand!
Country Meadow Village will also be having a Yard Sale Friday, September 9 from 9-3 p.m. to raise funds for the program.
