Des Moines Legacy Foundation’s “Woodstock” Bayside Brunch fundraiser at Anthony’s was a huge success, raising $24, 000 for funds that enhance Des Moines Activity Center’s programs and services: scholarships and emergency kits for low income seniors, computers, softball uniforms, commercial kitchen needs, patio/garden furnishings, and medical lending equipment; treats for Meals on Wheels participants, hosts Volunteer Training & Appreciation and sponsors Seniors Making Art and Blueprint for Living workshops. El Dorado West was one of this year’s sponsors for the event.
