Storyteller Debbie Dimitre invites us into the world of Louisa Boren Denny of Seattle’s yesteryear on March 27 at 2 p.m. Louisa Boren Denny was a Seattle Founding Pioneer. She was the wife of David Thomas Denny, sister of Carson Dobbins Boren and Mary Ann (Boren) Denny. She arrived on the shores of what would become the future City of Seattle on November 13, 1851. After marrying David Denny in 1853, Liza took seeds she carried over two thousand miles and planted them outside their cabin on what is now Denny Way. Travel back in time to the 1850s as Women’s Historian, Debbie Dimitri, brings Louisa to life.
