On March 15th Life Manor welcomed home the last few residents relocated during the renovations after January’s fire. Residents came home to a newly decorated library, a new convenient first floor location of the mail boxes, a comfy sitting area, and freshly updated apartments on the 2nd floor. It seems like time has flown since that morning when the residents of Life Manor Independent Living were rudely awakened to fire alarms and subsequently moved from the building. As reconstruction continues, temporary rooms have been assigned for various functions as they continue to put back the pieces, one at a time. We welcome any and all who would like to join us each Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. as we continue studying the Book of Acts and the Apostle Paul’s letters.

We are so happy that the residents on the 2nd floor are back home. As one person said, “The place we stayed while our rooms were cleaned was really nice, but it just wasn’t home!”

Also if you have any books in good condition that you would like to donate to help re-establish Life Manor’s library, they would be greatly appreciated. Puzzles welcome too!

The Life Manor ladies dressed up in pink to honor October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The pink- themed birthday party included resident Ann Marie dressed up as “Pink Holly Hock” sporting a scarf of peace signs.
