Hans Still, US Navy

Not only did Hans serve his country during World War II, but he got to see his first Big League Baseball game in 1942 while in New York City: Yakees vs. White Socks. Hans also got to see the Empire State Building, as well as big bands such as Tommy Dorsey, Frank Sinatra and Glen Grey. Hans probably would not have had these opportunities if he hadn't been in the US Navy.
