Riverside East residents and Program Manager Jackie White partnered with Bothell City Maintenance Manager Adam Fletcher for the annual Earth Day planting party at Bothell Landing. The weather was cloudy and chilly to start the day, but by the time the planting got started the sun was shining and everyone had a great time putting the plants in place at the park.

This year the group planted decorative grasses surrounded by lavender for a beautiful low maintenance arrangement. Residents will continue to stop by to maintain the site throughout the summer. The gardening group has already started talking about a project for next fall in which they will plant a variety of bulbs to enjoy next spring.
