The day will include live entertainment, senior discounts at local businesses, shopping BINGO game and prizes, free giveaways, historic walking tours of downtown Bothell and many more surprises! Riverside East is excited to be one of the sponsors for Bothell Senior Day 2012 coming up in September! This annual event is organized by the Greater Bothell Chamber of Commerce Senior Resource Committee and celebrates older adults. Attendees can play Shopping Bingo and take advantage of special discounts and programs offered by local merchants sponsoring the event and the Northshore Senior Center. Entertainment, shopping and great food; come on out and celebrate Senior Day with us!

Riverside East is now accepting donations for the “Kids of All Ages” benefit auction for Northshore Senior Center and the Kiwanis Club of Northshore. The contributing business whose dessert earns the most fundraising dollars will receive a plaque to display for the upcoming year.

• Desserts must be store bought or prepared in a commercial kitchen.
• Each dessert should serve 10 or more.

The day Donna Marie picked up her wish entry form and completed it with her wish to have a laptop computer, she felt it was a wish that would never come true. At the “Life Well Lived” event Riverside East sponsored for the Northshore Senior Center, Donna was elated to hear her name as Executive Director Jennifer Bolton presented her with her first computer. This was a wonderful wish come true for Donna as she had never worked on a computer but had always wanted to learn. Now she can take classes at the Northshore Senior Center as well as learn programs with her friend. Riverside East was happy to make this wish come true so that Donna can have quick access to endless information as well as stay connected with family and friends.
