In October Spiritwood entered their bus in Issaquah’s Salmon Days Parade. Spiritwood staff Linda Lee and Mary Gatrel, along with their husbands, were up bright and early to finalize the decorating of the bus. The front featured “Rosie Red Lips” and “Cool Sammy Salmon” jumping out of the water and down the river. Later they made their way down Gilman Boulevard along with all the other parade participants and waved to all the cheering fans. After the parade Spiritwood residents signed “Sammy Salmon” and gave it to Home Depot, which donated much of the decorating materials, to hang in their store.

Our Village Concepts Picnic at Lundeen Park at Lake Stevens was a huge success! Residents from Country Meadow Village, Harbor Tower Village, Grandview Village, Riverside East, Park View Villas and Spiritwood at Pine Lake gathered together to enjoy a classic summer lake-side BBQ. The winner of our Cupcake Wars was Riverside East Dining Director Eugenio for his Birthday Cupcakes.
